While exploring the materials to build the sculptures, I wanted to focus on pushing the materials because we got to use a lot of materials. I decided to include inspiration from someone's past work. I felt the work was lacking so I incorporated that to add to it. I want to keep exploring what tape can do. I want to learn more about wood. These pieces allowed me to explore the materials. The making of this work exposed new ideas such as how far can I go with a little bit of materials.

Inspired by the movie Saltburn

My intent with this photograph is to visually communicate obsession, being pursued by another, and the feeling of giving so much of yourself to someone else for their benefit. I decided to represent this by using the yarn to surround the focal point of the pomegranate seeds on a plate, representing abundance, life, and death. I also snuck some wire into the soft yarn to show that the attention could be dangerous.
